Accessibility Statement – nextestate
nextestate is committed to making its website accessible to people with disabilities and places great importance on providing equal service to the entire public. We work to adapt the website in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at Level AA.
1. Accessibility Adjustments Implemented on the Website
As part of our commitment to website accessibility, the following adjustments have been implemented:
- Screen reader compatibility, including a proper semantic structure, alt tags for images, and organized hierarchical headings.
- Keyboard navigation, allowing users to navigate between all website components using the Tab key, Enter key, and arrow keys.
- Color contrast, with attention to sufficient contrast between text and background in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
- Text resizing support, allowing users to enlarge text using browser tools without disrupting the page layout.
- Accessible forms, where all form fields include clear and properly associated labels.
- Reading direction support, with full user interface compatibility for Hebrew (RTL) and English (LTR).
2. Technologies Used
Website accessibility is tested and adapted for the following common technologies:
- Browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari in their latest versions.
- Operating systems: Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
3. Components That May Not Be Fully Accessible
We continuously work to improve accessibility; however, some website content may not yet be fully accessible:
- Content from external systems – some embedded content on the website is provided by third-party systems that are not fully under our control and may not meet all accessibility requirements.
- Older documents – documents uploaded in the past, such as PDF files, may not be fully accessible. We are working to make them accessible gradually.
- Media content – some video content on the website may not include subtitles or a full transcript.
